In 2010, the number of take-offs and landings recorded at 141 Canadian airports without air traffic control towers was 685,932 movements. Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador (28,871) followed by Peterborough, Ontario (27,674) were the most active sites in 2010.

There were 519,049 itinerant movements (flights from one airport to another) recorded by 121 airports without air traffic control towers in 2010. Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador, the most active site, represented 5.6% of the total itinerant movements. It reported 28,871 take-offs and landings, up 11.2% from 2009.

There were 138,049 local movements (flights that remain in the vicinity of the airport) recorded by 71 airports without air traffic control towers in 2010. Guelph, Ontario (24,586 movements) followed by Welland/Niagara Central, Ontario (22,367 movements) reported the greatest number of local movements in 2010.
