This is a line chart showing the percentages of males and females aged 12 or older and population aged 16 to  19, who smoked daily or occasionally in the years 2001 to 2010. The markers are displayed at the years 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. À

The Y axis is measured by percentages and increases by increments of five from 0 to 40.

On the X axis from left to right are the years 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.

The top line represents male population who smoked daily or occasionally, the second line down represents the population aged 16 to 19  the bottom line represents  females.

The percentage of males who smoked daily or occasionally was 28.2% in 2001, 25.1% in 2003, and 23.7% in 2005. There were 24.7% of males who smoked daily or occasionally in 2007, 24.4% in 2008, 22.6% in 2009, and 24.2% in 2010.

The percentage of the population of the age group 16 and 19 who smoked daily or occasionally was 28.7% in 2001, 24.9% in 2003, and 20.1% in 2005. There were 20.2% of those aged 16 to 19 who smoked daily or occasionally in 2007, 19.1% in 2008, 18.6% in 2009, and 19.3% in 2010.

The percentage of females who smoked daily or occasionally was 23.8% in 2001, 21.0% in 2003, and 19.9% in 2005. There were 19.4% of females who smoked daily or occasionally in 2007, 18.5% in 2008, 17.7% in 2009, and 17.4% in 2010.
