Prices received by farmers in August for grains, oilseeds, specialty crops, potatoes, cattle, hogs, poultry, eggs and dairy products are now available.

The August Manitoba feeder cattle price was $125.28 per hundredweight, down 1.3% from July but up 9.0% from August 2011 when the price was $114.99.

The Quebec soybeans price in August was $560.00 per tonne, up 4.7% from July and up 12.3% from August 2011 when the price was $498.69.
