Canadian Community Health Survey – Nutrition

This survey collects information on the nutrition of people in Canada. It includes questions on eating habits and other factors that may relate to health and nutritional well-being.

Your information may also be used by Statistics Canada for other statistical and research purposes.

From January 2 to December 31, 2019

Collection methods:

Personal interview for the first interview. Telephone interview for a second interview done with selected respondents.

Data are collected under the authority of the Statistics Act, Revised Statutes of Canada, 1985, Chapter S-19. Your information will be kept strictly confidential.

Data sharing agreements and record linkage

To enhance the data from this survey and to reduce the response burden, Statistics Canada may combine the information you provide with data from other surveys or administrative sources.
