Welcome to an overview of the new features of Statistics Canada's website. Over the next two minutes, we will quickly walk you through the new features and enhancements. Let's get started.

To begin, you will immediately notice that the top navigation menu bar has changed. Here, we can see the "Subjects" menu item, which is very popular among our users.

We have consolidated and simplified access to data products, instead of creating separate environments for CANSIM tables, summary tables, etc.

To navigate the results, you can use the use the 'Filter results by Keyword(s)' function to type in keywords or select a series of filters to narrow down the results and the number of corresponding products. Sorting options to change the order of the results are available. The old CANSIM table number can still be used in the new keyword search function.

We also offer direct access to analytical products, reference products and a way to find information for a region. This section will take you directly to the Census Program. This menu item provides information to survey participants. It also presents results by survey and statistical program.
