The main objective of the Survey on Maternal Health is to collect information from biological mothers about their pregnancy and postpartum experiences. Results from the survey will be used by researchers and policy makers to monitor maternal health and to improve the health and wellness of women.

Your information may also be used by Statistics Canada for other statistical and research purposes.

From November 29, 2018 to February 5, 2019

    To avoid duplication of surveys, Statistics Canada has signed an agreement with provincial health organisations, the "Institut de la Statistique du Québec", Health Canada and the Public Health Agency of Canada, to share the information that you provided on this survey. They have agreed to keep your information confidential and use it only for statistical purposes.
