Information for survey participants (ISP)

Statistics Canada's commitment to serving Canadians during the COVID-19 pandemic

As we move forward in these uncharted times, we will continue to respond to Canada's urgent need for reliable and timely statistics. We have resumed our regular surveys, in compliance with public health guidelines, and are also collecting data through new initiatives, such as crowdsourcing. For information about surveys that are currently being conducted, please refer to the List of surveys in collection.

Surveys and other collection initiatives allow us to provide Canadians with data on important issues that directly touch their lives. These issues include employment, cost of living, finances, mental health, and the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on individuals and businesses. Having up to date and relevant statistics on a continual basis helps governments and other organizations to make well-informed decisions, which is especially important now.

Thank you to all of the households and businesses who participate in our surveys. We appreciate your time, and the trust you place in us to protect your information, so that we can deliver high-quality statistics that matter to all Canadians.
