In January, the number of urban transit passenger trips in Canada was 127.1 million, up 11.9% from the same month last year.
The recovery slowed somewhat in January, with ridership at 79.0% of the level reported in the same month in 2019, down slightly from the recovery rate of 79.9% in December 2023.
