New Dashboard: Historical data for language indicators over time

Today, Statistics Canada is releasing a new dashboard on historical data for language indicators, entitled "Language indicators over time: Interactive Dashboard."

This dashboard provides information on mother tongue and knowledge of official languages for the period going from 1951 to 2021 and on first official language spoken and language spoken most often at home for the period going from 1971 to 2021.

Products

The "Language indicators over time: Interactive Dashboard" is now available.

The "Interprovincial migration by language group in Canada from 1976 to 2021" dashboard is also available.

The Languages Statistics portal provides the most recent data, analyses and references on languages in Canada.
