Canadian manufacturers produced 1.2 billion cigarettes in July 2024, up 4.3% from June 2024. Cigarette production was 2.3% higher compared with July 2023.
In July 2024, the total number of cigarettes sold increased 7.6% to 1.2 billion from June 2024. The level of sales was 3.3% lower compared with July 2023.
