In July, aircraft movements at Canada's major and select small airports totalled 592,193, up 7.5% from July 2023. Itinerant movements increased 5.6% year over year to 419,341 in July 2024, while local movements rose 12.5% to 172,852.
At the same time, major Canadian airlines flew 8.3 million passengers on scheduled and charter services in July, with a passenger load factor of 88.0%.
