Note to readers
Beginning in October 2024, the Machinery and Equipment Price Index (MEPI) will shift from being reported quarterly to monthly. Tables 18-10-0269-01 and 18-10-0270-01 will be replaced by new tables 18-10-0283-01 and 18-10-0284-01.
Data are available at the national level only.
The contribution of a given sub-aggregate to the composite price change depends on both the price change exhibited by the sub-aggregate and its importance in the basket, as measured by the weight.
With each release, data for the previous six months may have been revised. The MEPI is not seasonally adjusted.
