Highlights
Operating revenue for the 24 largest Canadian air carriers totalled $8.3 billion in the first quarter of 2025, down 0.5% compared with the same quarter of 2024.
At $7.2 billion, passenger revenue was the main revenue source for airlines in the first quarter of 2025, while air cargo generated $569.3 million in revenue.
In the first quarter, these Canadian carriers transported 21.8 million passengers on scheduled and charter services.
