Canadian manufacturers produced 1.1 billion cigarettes in October 2025, up 5.4% from September 2025. Cigarette production was 9.1% lower compared with October 2024.
In October 2025, the total number of cigarettes sold decreased 0.1% to 1.1 billion from September 2025. The level of sales was 5.0% lower compared with October 2024.
