Canadian manufacturers produced 746 million cigarettes in December 2025, down 32.4% from November 2025. Cigarette production was 2.5% higher compared with December 2024.
In December 2025, the total number of cigarettes sold decreased 15.8% to 931 million from November 2025. The level of sales was 15.1% lower compared with December 2024.
