Total stocks of wheat, canola, barley and oat, which are grown mainly in Western Canada, were up year over year as of December 31, 2025. Higher stocks for crops grown in the prairies were driven by increased production for the crop year. In contrast, stocks of corn for grain and soybeans were down, largely because of lower production in Eastern Canada.
