Data are now available from the 2021 Ontario First Nations Point-of-Sale Exemption Survey.
This survey collects information on First Nations point-of-sale exemptions provided to Indian status card holders at the time they purchased selected goods and services off reserve. The exemptions correspond to the 8% provincial portion of the Harmonized Sales Tax in Ontario.
