Note to readers
The For-hire Motor Carrier Freight Services Price Index measures changes over time in prices for the for-hire motor carrier freight services provided by general and specialized freight trucking companies.
Data are available at the Canada level only.
With each release, data for the previous quarter may have been revised. The index is not seasonally adjusted.
With the release of fourth quarter 2022 data on March 1, 2023, tables 18-10-0043-01 and 18-10-0044-01 have been archived and replaced with tables 18-10-0281-01 and 18-10-0282-01 with the 2021=100 basket update.
