In the first of two new fact sheets available today, the educational outcomes of First Nations youth relative to non-Indigenous youth are examined. This work is guided by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's calls to action.
The second fact sheet uses the Remoteness Index, a measure of proximity to service centres and population centres, to assess the relationship between remoteness and high school completion for First Nations people, Métis and Inuit.
