Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, data for the first and second quarters of 2020 could not be collected. The missing indexes were estimated using other benchmarking methods. Estimates for the first and second quarters of 2020 should be used with caution.
With each release, data for the previous quarter may have been revised. The series is also subject to an annual revision with the release of second quarter data for the following reference year. The index is not seasonally adjusted.
The CIMERLSPI combines North American Industry Classification System codes 53242 and 53249.
