When we launched the StatsCAN app on January 31, 2022, we had no idea if Canadians were going to love it as much as they did, but we were certain there was a need for it. Here at Statistics Canada, we realize that Canadians are increasingly using mobile devices to access Government of Canada information and services. The app project was born out of a desire to respond to this demand and better serve Canadians.
Since the launch, over 7,000 Canadians have downloaded the app and the reviews have been overwhelmingly positive with an average rating of 4.6 stars! The feedback we have received from you, our app users, over the past six months has been instrumental in helping our team as we make decisions on what new features to implement and how to expand our content for future updates.
