The value of shipments of minerals posts a large increase in the second quarter
The value of shipments of minerals saw an overall increase of 22.7% during the second quarter compared with the previous quarter. Although there was a decline in the value of minerals shipped in April, the subsequent gains in May and June were sufficient to maintain growth for the second quarter.
