Today, Statistics Canada is releasing the study "Prices through the supply chain: Softwood lumber."
This study sheds some light on the unprecedented volatility of softwood lumber prices and the ensuing price transmission. This analysis evaluates the price movements of softwood lumber across the domestic supply chain since the summer of 2020 using producer price indexes.
