Forage seed usage data are now available for 2021.
Note to readers
Forage seed usage data help to evaluate trends that relate to the usage of improved forage seed varieties by quantifying the volumes of seeds shipped to Canadian customers. Data are available at the provincial level, in both imperial and metric units of measure (pounds and kilograms), for 2008 to 2021.
Data for 2021 come from the 2021 Annual Forage Seed Usage Survey, which was conducted from October 13, 2021, to February 3, 2022. Data for 2021 cover the reference period from July 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021.
The 2020 Annual Forage Seed Usage Survey was not collected due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
