Data on electric power generating stations are now available for 2011 including revised data for 2010.
Data from this survey are now available in the following two CANSIM tables. Table 127-0009 contains data on installed generating capacity by type of organization, while table 127-0010 contains data on conventional thermal generating capacity by principal fuel.
Note to readers
The survey provides a list of generating stations in Canada and includes the name, ownership, year of installation, capacity (in kilowatts), type of fuel or water supply, and source (hydro, steam, internal combustion, combustion turbine, nuclear, wind, solar and tidal).
