Data on Canadian and provincial sales of electricity to the residential sector in the fourth quarter, including volumes and values of electricity sold to residential customers, are now available upon request.
Note to readers
Statistics Canada has undertaken a comprehensive redesign of its electricity surveys, including the Electricity Disposition – Quarterly Residential Sector survey (5181), and the Monthly Electricity Supply and Disposition Survey (2151).
The quarterly survey questions have been incorporated into the monthly survey. The integration of the Electricity Disposition – Quarterly Residential Sector survey is part of a multi-year initiative conducted by Statistics Canada to further improve data coherence and quality across its statistics programs.
