Take-offs and landings at 111 Canadian airports without air traffic control towers totalled 45,299 movements in October.
Overall, 10 airports accounted for 44% of the activity in October: Peterborough, Ontario (5,052 movements), Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador (3,017), Barrie–Orillia–Lake Simcoe Regional, Ontario (1,820), Red Lake, Ontario (1,781), Trois-Rivières, Quebec (1,713), Comox, British Columbia (1,410), Pickle Lake, Ontario (1,409), Moosonee, Ontario (1,388), Sherbrooke, Quebec (1,335), and Muskoka, Ontario (1,089).
