Data on the location, industry classification, and number of exporters and importers of goods by census metropolitan area, as well as on the value of their imports and exports, are now available for the years 2010 to 2018.
A new product, "Trade in Goods by Exporter and Importer Characteristics: Interactive Tool," which allows users to quickly, easily and efficiently browse these data, is also now available. This tool also includes data on the partner countries with whom products are traded.
Note to readers
This release contains revised data on the number of importers and the value of imports for the 2010 to 2016 reference years. Revisions are the result of improved methodologies that translate into a higher linkage rate of customs declarations and the proper units in the Business Register.
Data are available at the establishment level. An establishment is defined as the statistical unit where the accounting data required to measure production are available.
