A new study, "The gender wage gap in Canada: 1998 to 2018," is now available as part of the Labour Statistics Research Papers series.
This study examines the evolution of the gender gap in hourly wages from 1998 to 2018 among employees aged 25 to 54. The contributions of various characteristics, such as level of education and industry of work, are examined using data from the Labour Force Survey.
