Today, Statistics Canada is releasing the study "Response mobility and the growth of the Aboriginal identity population, 2006-2011 and 2011-2016."

This study examines response mobility, which, in this context, refers to the phenomenon of people changing their responses over time to census questions about Indigenous identity. The study is based on the integration of records from the 2006 Census, the 2011 National Household Survey and the 2016 Census.
