Today, Statistics Canada is releasing "Use of Internet services and technologies by Canadians: Interactive tool," which allows users to get data on the use of Internet services and technologies by Canadians in 2020.
Data tables on Canadians' Internet access in 2020 are now available.
The 2020 Canadian Internet Use Survey microdata file is now available in the research data centres.
Note to readers
Results from the 2020 Canadian Internet Use Survey were released in The Daily on May 31, 2021 and June 22, 2021.
Data for this survey were collected from November 2020 to March 2021.
The Canadian Internet Use Survey was redesigned in 2018. The findings from 2018 and 2020 should not be compared with those from previous surveys.
Products
The data visualization product "Use of Internet services and technologies by Canadians: Interactive tool", which is part of the series Statistics Canada – Data Visualization Products (71-607-X), is now available.
