Number and salaries of full-time teaching staff at Canadian universities (partial), 2022/2023

Today, Statistics Canada is releasing the first results from the Full-time University and College Academic Staff System survey for the 2022/2023 academic year.

This partial release includes data from 80 of the 111 public degree-granting institutions that had finalized data available by the beginning of April 2023. A final release for the 2022/2023 academic year, with data for all institutions, will be available in the fall of 2023. It will provide a detailed portrait of full-time academic staff in Canadian universities, including gender, age, academic rank, salary and administrative stipends, administrative responsibilities, and principal subject taught.
