Correctional services data provide information on the number and characteristics of admissions to and releases from adult and youth correctional services, as well as average counts of adults in provincial, territorial and federal custody and youth in correctional systems, as well as people under community supervision. Data are compiled from the Adult Correctional Services Survey, Youth Custody and Community Services Survey, Integrated Correctional Services Survey, Canadian Correctional Services Survey, as well as the Adult and Youth Corrections Key Indicator Reports.
