Life satisfaction in Canada, 2023

Life satisfaction is one of 84 indicators in Canada's Quality of Life Framework that provides key metrics on well-being in Canada. On the International Day of Happiness, the infographic "Life satisfaction in Canada, 2023" presents new data on life satisfaction in Canada using data from the Canadian Social Survey (Wave 10 - July to September 2023).
The release also showcases how Canada ranks in life satisfaction compared with other Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) countries, using data from the OECD Better Life Index. In 2023, Canada ranked 11th among OECD countries for life satisfaction.
