Today, Statistics Canada is launching a new Housing Statistics Portal. This portal has been created in response to growing demand for consolidated housing information. By improving access to a variety of housing data, it facilitates collaboration between users and data providers.
The concept of housing is broad and is interrelated with many other subjects such as prices, demography, health and wellness, the labour force, construction and the economy. By bringing together statistics from across the Agency's programs, the new portal allows users to easily access all data and products related to housing in one convenient location. The portal will be continually updated as new information becomes available, ensuring that Canadians have access to the information they need.
