As the social and economic impacts of the novel coronavirus (also known as COVID-19) are being felt, Statistics Canada remains committed to providing an accurate picture of what is happening in Canada, empowering governments, businesses and Canadians alike with the information they need to respond to, and recover from, this pandemic.

Statistics Canada is assessing the impacts of COVID-19 in Canada, developing new approaches and products, such as the portal, COVID-19: A Data Perspective, to better serve Canadians and deliver insight through data.

This new data portal provides links to the agency's interactive tool, "Canadian Economic Dashboard and COVID-19," to all the latest COVID-19-related data releases and analysis, as well as to a number of government resources.

Users are invited to visit the portal regularly to obtain the latest information that helps to shed light on the key economic trends and social challenges that arise as the current situation evolves.

The portal, COVID-19: A Data Perspective, is now available online.
