Today, Statistics Canada is launching a new Rural Canada Statistics Portal. This portal enhances the focus on statistics for Canada's rural communities and regions.
Users can explore analyses, the latest data, and interactive geospatial and other data visualizations on key rural subtopics. These include business performance and ownership, health, information and communications technology, and labour, income and spending. Related resources provided by Statistics Canada, as well as links to other Canadian and international organizations, are also featured.
Users are welcome to provide feedback and suggestions directly through a link on the portal. Statistics Canada will continue to update the portal as new data become available.
