Hi, my name is Fabrizio and I've been a pretty safety-conscious person my whole life. I really care about making things safe for my family and all those around me – but when it comes to safety outside of the office, the rules aren’t so clear.

Turns out there are great free resources available from Statistics Canada. The StatCan website has data on pretty much everything including safety in public and private places, dangers like cyberstalking, health-related safety such as sun safety and ultraviolet radiation protection, and even Canadians’ perceptions of personal safety and crime.

The data even told me about things I never thought to worry about! You know, like environmental issues including radon testing. Well, better safe than sorry.

If you're safety-conscious like me, check it out!
