Good governance
To have a well-functioning democracy, it is important that all individuals have their fundamental rights and freedoms respected, are able to participate in civil society, and know that their voices are being heard.
Having public institutions that are trusted to function effectively and treat all people impartially is critical in ensuring that all people in Canada feel safe and have access to the public services they need.
The good governance domain consists of three subdomains and 18 indicators.
