Whatever way you slice it, limited-service establishments make up nearly half of the food service industry that Statistics Canada tracks. Unlike full-service restaurants, limited-service establishments serve up different options. Examples of limited-service establishments are fast food restaurants (including drive-thrus), coffee shops, take out pizzerias, bagel shops, doughnut shops, sandwich bars, and ice cream parlours, but exclude food trucks.

Homeschool enrollment doubled in Canada during COVID-19 lockdowns

If there’s one thing we’ve learned since March 2020, it’s that home is not just where we live, it’s also where we can work or go to school. In Canada, there were 83,784 students enrolled in homeschool in 2020/2021, more than double (+106.3%) the 40,608 enrolled in the previous academic year.
