Many Canadians have embraced buying domestically-made products in recent months. Canadians are already plenty patriotic when it comes to buying beer, with domestic brew accounting for almost nine out of every ten dollars of beer sold nationally (88.0%) during the fiscal year 2023/2024.

Canada’s 158th birthday is fast approaching! It’s another opportunity to celebrate what it means to be Canadian, including the rich diversity of cultural communities that help build a strong and vibrant Canadian society.

Prices for video and audio subscription services in 2024 have increased by more than one-fifth (+21.0%) from 2019, and by more than one-half since 2014 (+52.7%).
