The new Gender, Diversity and Inclusion Statistics Hub brings together data from a number of Statistics Canada sources and presents the information in a single interactive analytical product. This Hub, the principal component of the Centre for Gender, Diversity and Inclusion Statistics, will make it easier for users to find and analyze the wealth of information that Statistics Canada publishes as they consider and measure the differential impacts of programs, policies, and other initiatives from a gender, diversity and inclusion perspective.

Today is the first release of this product and it will evolve with increased content and easy to use tools over time. We will add more data and products to address the gaps in the availability of information by gender, sex and other intersecting identity factors, such as disability, Aboriginal status—First Nations, Métis and Inuit—and other ethno-cultural characteristics.

  Note to readers

The creation of a Centre for Gender, Diversity and Inclusion Statistics was announced in Budget 2018. Data available in the first release include sex-disaggregated indicators in relation to education, economic participation and prosperity, leadership, gender-based violence, and health and well-being. Statistics Canada will continue to update the Hub as new data become available.
